Sailing in the Greek Mediterranean, June 2010

This year I met David and Gillian on S/V Storm Eagle for sailing through the Greek islands in the Ionian sea. I picked up the boat after a long flight to Athens in Missalonghi where they were waiting for me with an ice cold Mythos beer. From there, we hit Ithika, several ports on Lefkas, Meganissi, Paxos, and finally Corfu.

For most of the trip the winds were light and variable and usually coming from exactly where we wanted to go, so there was a lot of motoring, but the scenery, food and company could not be beat. Thanks again David and Gillian!
