After a long flight from Newark to Athens, I found my way to the Athens Intercity bus terminal, then the 4 hour bus ride to Messolonghi where S/V Storm Eagle and David and Gillian were waiting for me with a nice cold beer. There is a lot of history in the town of Messolonghi, but I didn't get a chance to do much exploring (too jet lagged). We had a great dinner on board and a peaceful night in the marina with a full moon rising. |
