The Amalfi Coast

Leaving Capri after lunch, we headed towards Solarno. As evening fell, we decided instead to make port in Amalfi.

The Amalfi coast of Italy is supposed to be one of the most scenic and beautiful in Italy, and probably all of the Med. I believe it. I wish my pictures had done it justice.

The next day I had to finally leave the boat to start my return trip. I found a ferry from Amalfi to Solarno, and from there a train to Rome. But what a great place to end the sailing part of the trip!
