Cannes

First day, Delta flight 82 from JFK to Nice. I arrived in Nice early on the morning of the 8th. After tossing back a few espressos at the airport (love that French coffee... even airport coffee), I caught the bus to Cannes. The bus dropped me off in the center of town, where I walked down to the Marina and somehow found Storm Eagle among the 300 boats there. David Duffy and Peter were already on board, casually sipping wine. Stowed my 'kit' and got some wine. Dave and Mimi showed up later in the afternoon after a wild drive from Milan.

Cannes was just setting up for the film festival, which started the next day. We wandered around some, had a great dinner, and crashed early for an early start
