Flying At Waynsville, OH

I had the chance to visit my friends Rick and Kim in Ohio over a long weekend and hang out and fly Rick's Super Cub. He keeps it at Red Stewart airfield, an old grass strip, with a bunch of other cool 'tail draggers'. This is the airfield that time forgot. A real throw-back to the late 40's. While there, I flew with an instructor and got my tail-dragger endorsement, flew a few other planes, hung out and partied, met a lot of very cool people, and generally learned more about real flying than I had in the past few years.

Below are some pictures of some of the planes I flew. Rick's Super Cub, a J-3, a 1946 Funk (of which there are only 50 left in the world), and a Cesna 310 (the twin engine one below).

Also visited the Wright Patterson/Dayton air museum. Some pictures, but my camera battery died before I got to some of the cooler things.
